Dear Parents and Students,
Teaching your children art and nurturing their creative expression has been a blessing beyond words. I have enjoyed working with them and literally, watching them grow over the years. Many have gone on to College, some are studying art, and others have become my student helpers. I am grateful to you for trusting your precious children with me as we adventure through another year of ART!
Here are some quick reminders:
● August is here and fall art classes for the whole family starts back up after Labor Day!

● Check out www.waterstreetartgallery.com for a list of fun events and art classes in Sapulpa! As you know, I am a member of the Water Street Art Gallery. Much of my recent work is shown there, and I will teach a few workshops throughout the year at the gallery; however, my primary teaching will focus at Heidi Contreras School of Art at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Brookside.
● I am searching for a place to have a children’s art show to display your children’s amazing art. If you know of a great place please contact me. If you wish to volunteer to help organize this event: Bless you!
● The next art contests are the 2009 NRA Youth Wildlife Art Contest http://www.nrahq.org/youth/wildlife.asp and The Family Children Services annual poster contest.
