Dear Students and Parents,
Summer vacation has arrived and along with it, art camps and classes for all ages at Heidi's Art School!
I'm excited to announce that this week the first of eight art camps starts on Tuesday June 7, 12:00-1:30 for ages eight and up; 1:30-3:00 for five and up. These classes offer theme based projects each day. We plunge into our creative packed summer with watercolor painting of penguins, peacocks, parrots, landscapes, and the fun and persnickity watercolor technique!
Next week we gear up for drawing with Prismcolors (ages 8-up), (markers/oil pastels for ages 5-8) Tiger, toucan, panda, lion, giraffe and elephant! And then the third week is Acrylic painting with the Masters: Cezanne, O'Keefe, Mona Lisa, Van Gogh's Sunflowers and Starry Night and more! During our fourth art camp, students choose their own medium: It they are new to camp they may use oil or soft pastels, markers, or painting with Acrylics or Watercolors! Previous students may choose Prismacolors as well as the above mentioned supplies. It doesn't stop here! We have classes in creative sewing, day and night oil painting, night Prismacolor drawing for older students, plus July's art camps, too! And, for those artist sprouts ages 2-4, there is Mommy & Me Art on Wednesday mornings through the months of June and July; and Saturday mornings for July and August.
Students who desire private lessons are advised to book early, as time slots are limited.
